Power Supplies Available from IPD
RoHS power supplies are available from Integrated Power
Design (IPD). IPD supplies are designed to meet a wide
variety of applications, both in their power input/output
specifications and also in their mechanical layout or
footprint.
The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the
use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment". This Directive will ban the placing
on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment
containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium,
mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl
(PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame
retardants from 1 July 2006.
A great deal of our effort goes into making sure that
the premium components we select go into topologies
that result in low heat dissipation. And now, RoHS power
supplies will be manufactured by IPD to the full compliance
of the RoHS directive.
In addition, we strive to develop RoHS power supplies
that are far more efficiency that standard conventional
supplies. These efforts allow us to provide a compact,
AC DC power supply with high power densities and features
that are required by most demanding applications.
Our power supply designs are for a global market place,
which include industrial and medical applications. Our
safety agency approvals reflect this with most of our
products having both EN60950 ITE certification and EN60601-1
medical certification.
Should you have a special requirement and not see a
product in our standard offering, please contact us.
With the versatility of our RoHS power supplies, our
technical staff can make modifications that can meet
your needs.
IPD is the manufacturer of AC-DC & DC-DC Power Supplies.
Our products are sold to general industries, including
Medical, Automotive, Telecommunications and Test Instruments.
Presently, our products are shipped throughout the world
with global approvals.
IPD was founded April of 1985. At that time the company
was located in Milltown, NJ, where it began manufacturing
DC-to-DC Power Supplies. Then in March of 1986, the
company relocated to larger facilities in Lawrenceville,
NJ. Over the next 6 years, the product line was expanded
and sales increased. The need for a larger production
area was essential to the growth of IPD. On March 1,
1992, IPD opened its doors for production at our new
Wilkes-Barre, PA, location. By 1996, the Company outgrew
its present building and in 1997, added 45,000 sq. ft.
to the existing building. |
