   SRW/SRP-100 SERIES MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS  

 

 

   APPLICATIONS INFORMATION
  1. Each output can deliver its rated current but total output power must not exceed 70, 85 or 100 watts as determined by cooling method.
  2. Rated 8A maximum when convection cooled only.
  3. Rated 1A maximum when convection cooled only.
  4. Rated 50 watts maximum output power when convection cooled, 70 watts when baseplate or forced air cooled.
  5. Free air convection cooling, 70 watts maximum output power.
  6. Base plate cooling rating of 85 watts requires a one square foot.09 thick aluminium area attached to bottom four mounting holes.
  7. Forced air cooling rating of 100 watts requires an air speed of 200 linear feet per minute flowing past a point one inch above the main isolation transformer.
  8. Semiconductor case temperatures must not exceed 110o C.
  9. Sufficient area must be provided around the convection cooled power supplies to allow natural movement of air to develop.
  10. This product is intended for use as professionally installed component within information technology and medical equipment.
  11. A minimum load of 10% is required on output one to ensure proper regulation of remaining outputs.
  12. Remote sense terminals may be used to compensate for cable losses up to 250mV. The use of twisted pair is recommended as well as a decoupling capacitor (0.1-10µF) and a capacitor of 100µF /amp connected across the load side.
  13. Peak to peak output ripple and noise is measured directly at the output
    terminals of the power supply, without the use of the probe ground lead or retractable tip, 20 MHz bandwidth.
  14. This product includes only one fuse in the input circuit. In consideration of Clause 57.6 of UL 60601-1, a second fuse may be required in the
    end product.
  15. This power supply has been safety approved and final tested using a DC dielectric strength test. Please consult factory before performing an AC dielectric strength test.
  16. Maximum screw penetration into chassis mounting holes is .125 inches.

  1. This product was type tested and safety
    certificated using the the dielectric
    strength test voltages listed in Table V
    of UL 60601-1. In consideration of clause
    20.4g, care must be taken to insure the
    voltage applied to a reinforced insulation
    does not over stress basic insulation.
    Secondary to ground capacitors may
    need to be removed prior to performing
    a dielectric strength type test on the
    end product. It is highly recommended
    that the DC test voltages listed in DVB.1.
    Annex DVB are not exceeded during
    a production-line dielectric strength
    test of the assembled end product.
