Universal
Power Supplies from Integrated Power Design
Universal power supplies that meet wide variety applications
are offered by Integrated Power Design. What are universal
power supplies? Typically, universal power supplies, either
AC-DC & DC-DC supplies are designed to meet a wide
range of applications. They provide a common input/output
connection configuration either in the form of a standard
pin-out or with screw terminal blocks. Universal input
voltage ranges from 85-264VAC are provide to meet most
world requirements, with available universal DC outputs
of 3.3V, 24V, 48V, +5V, -5V, +12V, -12V, +15 and –15V.
Our #1 objective in developing universal power supplies
is to improve product efficiency. A great deal of our
effort goes into making sure that the premium components
we select go into topologies that result in low heat
dissipation. This allows us to provide compact universal
power supplies with high power densities and features
that are required by most demanding applications.
Our universal power supplies are designed for a global
market place, which include industrial and medical applications.
Our safety agency approvals reflect this with most of
our products having both EN60950 ITE certification and
EN60601-1 medical certification. Other domestic and
international certification includes UL, TUV and CE.
If you have a requirement which do not exactly match
up with one of our universal power supplies listed on
our website, please contact us. The universal flexibility
of our power supply designs allows our technical staff
to make modifications that can meet your needs.
IPD is the manufacturer of AC-DC & DC-DC Power
Supplies. Our products are sold to general industries,
including Medical, Automotive, Telecommunications and
Test Instruments. Presently, our products are shipped
throughout the world with global approvals.
IPD was founded April of 1985. At that time the company
was located in Milltown, NJ, where it began manufacturing
DC-to-DC Power Supplies. Then in March of 1986, the
company relocated to larger facilities in Lawrenceville,
NJ. Over the next 6 years, the product line was expanded
and sales increased. The need for a larger production
area was essential to the growth of IPD. On March 1,
1992, IPD opened its doors for production at our new
Wilkes-Barre, PA, location. By 1996, the Company outgrew
its present building and in 1997, added 45,000 sq. ft.
to the existing building. |
